It took place, on January 12, 2012 in Braga Hospital, the first surgical repair of pectus excavatum with the prosthesis of the iSurgical3D.
The surgery tested successfully the prosthesis and, by option of the surgeon, the calculation methods of correction, modeling and pre-bending of the prosthesis.
